Can’t sleep? Try this Kundalini breathing technique

Right Nostril Breathing (Surya Bhedana) + Kundalini Invite

Have you ever felt anxious at night, overstimulated, or unable to sleep even when your body feels tired?

This simple breathing technique from Kundalini Yoga can help.

Sit in a comfortable cross-legged position with a straight spine.

Gently close your right nostril with your right thumb.

Now, begin to breathe slowly and deeply only through your left nostril.

Left nostril breathing is known to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps the body relax, calm the mind, and ease into sleep.

In Kundalini Yoga, it’s also considered the moon channel—cooling and soothing

You can try this for just 3 minutes before bed, or anytime you feel anxious or overstimulated.

For deeper results, practice for 11 minutes 11 day.

Let yourself settle. Let your breath guide you back to yourself.

If you’re ready to explore more of these sacred yet practical tools,

I’d love to welcome you to my Kundalini Yoga classes.

Love & Light,

Sat Nam ✨
